The Everlane Street Sandal is a re-imagining of the Everlane Street shoe for summer. Leather straps and a foam bottom make this sandal a comfortable and stylish option. This is my Everlane Street Sandal Review.
Everlane Street Sandal Review
I had heard some rave reviews about the Street Sandal so when they came back in stock I decided to try them out. I went with my usual Everlane shoe size which is a half size larger than what I am wearing in other brands. These shoes much like the loafers are very narrow, exaggerated pointed toe.
I will be honest I love the pointed toe in closed toe shoes but in these sandals I think it highlights how short and wide my feet are. There is alot of empty toe box showing.
The straps in beige are leather and the first time I wore them the upper strap sort of dug into my foot. However by the second time I wore them I didn’t notice any discomfort.
The style of the sandal is very minimalist much like all of Everlanes styles. The back strap is elastic and I found it to be comfortable and it stays put for a good fit. I think that the sandals have a more sporty feel so if you are into the athleisure trend these would be a great option for you.
The shoes look a bit more clunky that many other sandals I have that simply have a leather bottom. The foam looks bulky but it is actually very light. The narrow pointed toe gives the sandals a sleek look that you won’t find from any other sport sandal.
While not my favourite Everlane shoe (that honor goes to the Everlane loafers. read my Everlane Loafer review), they are a practical minimalist option that goes well with pants, shorts and dresses alike. While not exactly a girly feminine option it is still sleek enough to work with minimalist dresses and offers a bit of lift. This style seems to sell out quickly, perhaps there are more limited runs of this sandal? Either way if you are interested you should order while you can.
