Hope you had a great Canada Day Long weekend! It was a hot one for sure. When it is this hot I try to keep my outfits as simple as possible. As much as I love layers and jackets to finish a look, it really doesn’t work when the temperatures rise past the 30 degree mark!
I picked up this skirt at Joe Fresh earlier this season and I am kicking myself that I didn’t get the grey one as well. It is SOOOO comfortable and a great substitute for shorts.
I love how the front has some ruching and draping – so flattering!
I also love these shoes, last seen during fashion week. The cutout detail is so fun. Still I wish they were easier to wear. Sigerson Morrison makes their shoes really narrow and I have wide feet!
Jewellery; Vintage and the Stella & Dot Bardot Spiral Bracelets, Necklace Anthropologie (sold out but I love this one too)

I love how the skirt is long and classy - most skirts designed this way are super short. Very cute!

Thanks, I probably could have gotten away with a smaller size but I wanted it to be this length and not crazy short. Much more wearable this way!
P.S. I Love Soap Co.

Surprisingly no, all the cut outs double as air holes :)
