I really can’t take total credit for this outfit. I was trolling through Pinterest after signing up last week and saw an outfit I liked. Then I thought about it and said hey I can duplicate that with what I have in my closet!
I ended up with an outfit I liked more than I thought I would! The boat neck stripe sweater on its own is very classic preppy kind of sweater. But paired with the brown leather and skinny black pants it almost comes off as edgy.
The leather jacket is one I got on sale from Danier years ago and it has sat in my closet unworn for a while now. This outfit pairing has inspired me to wear it more often.
I think my favourite part of the whole thing though it the Club Monaco scarf, that works because even though it has a paisley pattern it is the same black and cream as the top.

This outfit has two things that I am looking for; it is Mom friendly and it doesn’t look like I gave up and am not trying. Perfect.

Unfortunately no, I think it is now a couple years old. I have seen some nice ones on their online lookbook recently though.
