Outfit of the Day; What I wore to Fashion Week Day 1

I knew I wanted to wear my neon jeans to Toronto Fashion Week but I wasn’t sure what else so I decided to open with the outfit below.

Outfit details: Jacket & clutch (old) Club Monaco, flower pin Zara, Sweater JCREW, Jeans Madewell, Boots Joe Fresh, Scarf Winners, Jewellery Joe Fresh, Urban Outfitters, Asos, Ruche.

I was worried that even though I was on trend with my bright jeans, that I wouldn’t be dressed up enough. But really fashion ran from glammed out with all the socialites in the front row, to more everyday in the media seats. And everywhere in between.

I was expecting more street style friendly outfits which I didn’t really see alot of I guess. I was also expecting alot more streetstyle photographers which I guess just goes to show you that reality is much different than magazines and blogs make it out to be. That or Toronto Fashion week has some catching up to do as compared to the other major fashion weeks.
