I picked up these shoes earlier in the month because I knew I wanted to wear them for Christmas events. They are so fantastic that I have to share two different ways to wear them so that you can see their versatility. Argueabley I could have done a few more ways to wear them but lets face it I avoid wearing skirts and dresses at this time of year because it is just too damn cold.
This outfit is basically me in holiday mode. A red sweater is my go to easy way for an instant Christmas look. Mine is from last year but there is this or this or this that you can pick up right now. The plaid top is flannel which means it is warm and soft. Perfect for cold climates. The jeans are these but I cut them myself. A tad short but I like the fit so I am just going with it. The flats are what make this outfit though. I LOVE them.
One thing you can’t really tell from the mirror selfies is that the collar on this flannel paid shirt is so cute! It has a ruffle detail and I am so here for it. Works well under sweaters.
My second outfit is a bit dressier because I have velvet pants and not jeans. I love velvet pants not just for events at this time of the year but for the office too. They are so warm and they look luxurious. The wrap top I picked up recently and it is fantastic. I personally really like wrap tops as they work well for a fuller chest. This one also give really good coverage. I realize the red in the shoe and the red of the top are different. It is ok you don’t have to match perfectly. Especially since plaids have so many colours in there to work with. To me it just goes.
Which look do you prefer? Layered and casual? Wrap and a bit more dressy? I have a few different events that I am going to this year and I am sure that both options will get worn!
I am sure that I don’t need to highlight this right now since we all know there are a boat load of sales going on this week but hey just in case there are a boat load of sales on this week so now is the time to shop with discounts!

Love ❤️ them both! Maybe a long skirt and those shoes 👠 would be a look as well.

It would for sure. I just don't love wearing skirts this time of year. So cold!
