I didn’t really think I needed a Curvy version of Everlane’s Authentic Stretch High Rise jean. The regular version already quickly became my favourite pair of jeans. I was offered the chance to try the curvy version and I wanted to see if there was a noticeable difference and if it worked better on my figure. The Everlane Curvy Authentic Stretch High Rise Skinny Jean review will share how the two versions differ and which I prefer. Thank you to Everlane for gifting me a pair of their Curvy denim.
Everlane Curvy Authentic Stretch High Rise Skinny Jean Review
To do a true comparison I have both the Curvy and Regular versions of the Everlane high rise skinny in a size 32 and the dark wash. The wash is exactly the same so nothing really to note there.
To get the curvy fit for this jean, Everlane adjusted the hip to waist ratio. The idea was to eliminate waist gap and to provide a form hugging fit through the hip and thigh.
For myself I notice the nipped in waist. As opposed to the regular version that has more of a straight fit through the waist. The curvy fit has more room for my booty and snugger at the waist. For my figure the curvy fit is every so slightly more comfortable.
I also find that the fit through the legs is a bit looser. However I did make the mistake of getting the regular length not the ankle length in this pair. I am 5’4 and the ankle length is ideal and I will be cutting a bit of the excess off this pair so that it doesn’t bunch at the ankle. I would say that any one 5’5 and below should get the ankle cut. 5’6 and up would be good with the regular length.
The Everlane Curvy High Rise Skinny jeans come in three different colours and two different leg lengths. My favourite combo is the dark denim and ankle length. Which would you prefer?
