I am all for a comfortable flat sandal. But I also want it to look cute not just functional. Soludos is better known for their espadrilles. They were popular for the style that wrapped around the leg and their pom pom mules are pretty popular as well. Soludos ventured into other styles of shoes and sandals in leather. The Soludos Knotted Slide Sandal Review will share why I love this sandal for summer.
Soludos Knotted Slide Sandal Review
The Soludos knotted slide sandal also known as the Clara knotted sandal has two white leather knots on top as the straps. The bottom is a molded cork footbed with leather lining. The sole is rubber.
The footbed feels very much like a Birkenstock. They feel comfortable with lots of support. The rubber sole means that they aren’t slippy either.
I have wide feet and I did find these narrow. Not so narrow they didn’t fit but I did have to break them in to stretch out the leather upper. Now after a summer of wear they have a snug but comfortable fit. They mold to your foot so that it feels like it is a custom fit for just you. You may want to size up a half size in these sandals if you have wide feet and prefer to have a less snug fit.
These sandals only come in white. There aren’t other colours. But the white feels so summery and goes with everything. I wear these sandals just as easily with shorts as I do with dresses.
The knotted leather looks chic and feminine. I think they have more versatility than a traditional birkenstock sandal.
These sandals are a reasonable dupe for the Dear Frances sandals that are more than double the price. So if you were eyeing the Dear Frances Summer Slides but don’t want to pay the price, check out the Soludos ones instead.
What drew me to these sandals was the knotted detail. But what keeps me wearing them is that they are comfortable and chic looking sandals that got with a large variety of outfits.

I'm just like you, I need comfortable shoes or comfy sandals and slide sandals are the best. These are lovely. I have very small feet for my size (4,5 for 5'7 as I have asian blood) and I found a pair of really nice Birkenstock alternatives in a French shop called Gemo for only 26€ and another pair of zebra pattern flats from Urban outfitters on eBay at 15€ (brand new ones) and they're really great to wear with long skirts, denim shorts or go to the beach. I basically live in flats, sneakers and furry boots, and you now can find some very stylish ones at a very affordable price, because I cannot stand wearing heels, especially when I'm running around with my kids. I just had a look at the Soludos website and their sneakers are gorgeous. Thanks for the tip!

You are so welcome. I have found a few great options with Soludos. I live in flats these days too. Heels except for low heeled boots are just not what I like anymore. And there are so many great flat options, even for special occasions.
