Sezane Milo Classic Bag Review

Sezane has updated its Milo bag. Gone is the toggle closure replaced with a more classic brass clasp. The new closure give the bag an upgrade. While I considered the Milo bag before the toggle clasp wasn’t doing it for me. Sharing why I decided to snap up this bag now that they changed the closure. This is my Sezane Milo Classic Bag Review.

Sezane Milo Classic Bag Review

The Sezane Milo Classic Bag is a made in Italy structured leather hand bag. The bag has an adjustable strap that goes from a shoulder bag to a cross body bag. The Classic Milo comes in three colourways. Mine shown here is the khaki snakeskin.

The Milo Classic is an updated version of the Milo Bag with the main difference being the clasp.

The new clasp on the Milo Classic bag gives the bag a look that is closer to the Celine Classic Box bag or the A.P.C. Grace bag. To open the clasp you press down on the bottom portion.

Another feature of the Milo bag that makes it so versatile is that the strap is adjustable. I have it on the shortest setting in the picture where I am wearing it over my shoulder. I have the strap fully extended on the right. Fully extended the bag is a crossbody. There is a way to snap things in place in between the shortest and longest but it is a more awkward length.

The inside of the Milo Bag has three separate compartments. There are two slim compartments and one larger section. The larger compartment also has a zip pocket and two smaller pockets that I guess you can stash a phone but I tend to put lip balm in there. You can also see that there is a pocket on the back side of the bag. Great for stashing a phone when out and about.

This bag is much roomier than the Sezane Victor bag and more secure than the Lola Bucket Bag.

The Milo bag is more structured than I usually go for but I love the snakeskin print leather and the new clasp really improves the bag in my opinion. I feel like the toggle closure didn’t really match with the structure of the bag, except for the raffia version which I think the toggle does work.

I like that I can fit a full sized wallet in this bag and there are separate compartments. It is small enough that my keys will be easy to find but large enough that I can fit what I need for a day out. This bag gives you the look of a Celine bag without the even higher price tag.
