I have been really into wide leg trousers lately. More so for summer pants so like linens and cottons versus denim. What I like about a wide leg trouser or culotte is that they are really floaty and cool but look more polished than most pairs of shorts. Below are 4 wide leg trouser outfits that mix and match with ease to create a wide leg capsule wardrobe.
Wide Leg Capsule Wardrobe
I am packing for a trip to Europe this summer and I like the idea of these outfits because they all are interchangeable producing way more than just 4 outfits. Layer over the jean jacket or switch the tees around, layer the stripey sweater.

I can personally vouch for the linen wide leg culottes. They are fantastic. I have also ordered these because the other pair are so fantastic. I can vouch for the red stripe tee although I have it in a solid colour. The weight is really nice. I definitely want to try the more boxy cropped style. I returned the green khaki wide leg trousers not because they were bad but more because they were too similar to something I already had. The vertical stripe blouse I have from last year and again it is fantastic. Perfect for really hot days. I have been tempted to order the stripe sweater as a more summer version of this. The sandals I have in black and they are really great. The soft smooth leather has meant I wear them with zero rubbing. The sunglasses I have as well. They are a new purchase and I really like them. They remind me of my old Prada sunglasses but without the curly arms. The jean jacket I ordered earlier in the spring and I like it because it is more a stretch denim which works so well for people with curves as there is more give than a structured pure cotton denim. The tote is an update of this. I like that it has a zipper making it more versatile for travel. The little crossbody is one I have had my eye on for ages and there are some more affordable second hand options lately.
