I started pulling out my wool coats because it has gotten cold enough each morning to wear more than just a trench coat. I also started pulling out my scarves and this whole process has me envisioning outfit ideas. Especially something basic and classic looking that can be adapted to the coat that you are wearing. Here are two classic autumn outfits.
Classic Autumn Outfits
Double Breasted coat – I have this coat in a deep camel colour that doesn’t seem to be available any more. But this burnt cedar colour is pretty fantastic.
Dark check scarf – loving the moody vibe of this scarf. This scarf would actually work great with either coat.
Brown boots – yes I shared these the other day with my Brown Boot round up. I think they are super chic wear with everything boot.
Baby Alpaca crew neck – The pretty diamond knit detail on this sweater is so pretty. Perfect for a classic base layer of dark jeans an a sweater.
Classic dark jeans – you can’t go wrong with a wide leg dark jean.
Camel coat – Love the simple look of this coat with the single button.
Beige check scarf – yes similar scarf but in lighter tones. Gives a less moody vibe but still works with either coat.
Black boots – these have a sleek vibe and are really modern looking. I like that they have a lower heel so really easy to wear every day.
One classic base look can produce multiple looks with the two coats and accessories. I love this time of year when my coat does the heavy lifting outfit wise.
