Best sellers of 2024

2024 has been a challenging year to be a blogger. Especially one that relies on getting traffic from search engines. Review posts are how most people find my website through search. You may have heard other content creators complaining about the state of Google as it has been a crazy rollercoaster ride this year. Earlier in the year Google changed their search algorithm and so many independent publishers were decimated in the rankings. Reddit and other big platforms dominated search results along with Google rolling out its AI answers and adding more shopping results to non shopping queries. By August I had rebounded but not fully. All this is to say that traffic has been weird this year especially since there were months that I had very few visitors. All I can say is make sure you are signing up for bloggers newsletters so that you can get alerted to new posts because Google isn’t serving up as great of results as it once was. Unless you love reddit threads. But back to what I came here to talk about and that is the best sellers of 2024. These are the top 5 items that followers and review readers loved the most in 2024.

navy belted coat & other stories

Coconutter Lanostick – I did a post about the Agave Lipbalm dupe and it seems I was not alone looking for a dupe! The Lanostick is a good dupe especially for the texture.

Voluminous Belted CoatThe coat I am wearing above has quickly become a popular item thanks to this review post. I haven’t had a whole winter to wear it yet but I am impressed at how warm it is. I do think it is a bit thinner than my Aritzia coats but not by much and there is loads of room to layer. It is 100% wool so it is a warm option.

Slouch Coat – speaking of Aritzia Coats this one still seems to be a popular option. I am not surprised it is a great coat. And if you are looking for something with more weight and a great option for a Canadian winter.

Sezane Trench – Both of the Sezane trenches have been super popular options. The Clyde has more of a boyfriend fit and is single breasted. The Scott is more of a classic trench style. If you are layering the Clyde is the best option. If you want something classic and feminine I would go with the Scott.

Sezane low mules

Lenny Low Mules – these were hands down my most worn sandals this summer. They are a very elevated Birkenstock style sandal. Highly recommend.
