Michael Kors or ASOS? A Michael Kors Watch

Michael Kors watches have been the IT watch to be sporting for the last while. Kind of like Coach bags were back like 9 years ago.

What I like about the Michael Kors watch is that it really is a great classic style, whether you choose gold, rose gold or tortoise links. The chunky, men’s inspired, oversized style is just a great contrast to a traditional dainty womans watch.

I got an Asos Rose Gold watch a few years ago and people are always asking me where I got it and if it is a more expensive version, namely is it a Michael Kors watch? I am always proud to say heck no, I got it for under $50.

The Michael Kors watch above (Michael Kors Bradshaw Chronograph Watch) is one of a few tortoise shell links versions. This one has the tortoise on the inside, there is one closer to the River Island Micheal Kors knock off with the tortoise links on the outside, and there is a full tortoise links version here. The Asos Michael Kors knock off is pretty good, but I notice that in both cases the tortoise is a bit more red toned than the MK versions.

If you are looking for a Michael Kors gold watch look a like Asos has a few options. Michael Kors oversized watch comes in gold, rosegold and silver. The knockoff versions are here or here, here and here and they are all under $70. I think the River Island Rosegold version is the best Micheal Kors Look a like of them all.

If you are a die-hard Michael Kors fan and really just want all the watches and a knock off won’t do there is a few sets where you can get all the oversized watches in one set.

Which would you buy? The real thing or one that will get you buy and tell the time?

I love the idea of spending less than $50 and having everyone ask if it is the real thing!
