There is nothing wrong with the stiletto. I think they look amazing with skinny denim or skirts. But when it comes to summer and flared denim I tend to gravitate to a chunky heel.
And honestly a chunkier heel has benefits like being easier to walk in and looking a bit retro.
In fact I would like to make a shoe statement here; I think that for summer you should have a variety ranging from a chunky heel sandal, stiletto and a wedge. Something for every outfit or to reinvent outfits on the fly.
