To be honest I am not one of those people who live in black. I love colour. But it also doesn’t mean that I never do all black.
The trick with monochrome dressing is to vary the fabrics and details so that there is more dimension to the outfit.
I had seen this 424 Fifth sheer polka dot t-shirt on a number of my blogger friends and when I found it was on sale I had to get it (in black & white!). It is that perfect item to add visual interest to a monochrome outfit.
With all the black leather already in this outfit (skirt, belt & shoes) I thought a black bag might be a bit overkill. So instead I added a pop of colour with an oversized red clutch which I usually carry round as a crossbody bag.
Outfit details: Sheer polka dot tee 424 Fifth (on sale!! USA/CAN), leather pleated skirt ASOS, red leather clutch c/o Coco’s Closet, wedge heels Michael Kors via Winners (similar).
How do you do all black, monochrome look?
