I feel like for as long as I have owned it I have struggled with how to wear buffalo plaid. I always feel like it can come off lumberjack like if done wrong. When it is done right it has an edgy cool vibe about it.
Wearing white jeans instead of black or blue and wearing heels keeps the look modern and fresh instead of outdoorsy man.
Remember when mixing prints was a thing? It seemed so complicated but here I am wearing 3 different prints (stripes, buffalo plaid and a zig zag print) all in one outfit and it doesn’t look crazy. I think what keeps it grounded is the consistent colour pallet.
Outfit details: Buffalo plaid coat & boots Joe Fresh (old), stripe shirt Everlane, scarf Aritzia, white jeans Yoga jeans, bag Alexander Wang.
