I decided to do something a bit different and talk about some of my most worn items, starting with my shoes!
Most Worn Shoes for Summer
- Birkenstocks – My most worn sandals are my Birkenstocks, even though they are not pictured above. Over the years I tried wearing different styles (this style is what I have right now) . I like these in white or metallic. Birkenstocks run narrow so go with the wider version if you have regular to wide feet. Still Birkenstocks are super comfortable shoes. I wear them for long walks and do not get sore feet which is so important.
- Everlane Loafers – Loafers are not an obvious choice for summer. But after wearing them for the past year my Everlane loafers are the most comfortable shoes I own. They are also the ones I choose more often than all the others. What I like about my Everlane loafers is you can wear them sockless with a cropped pant. I do admit however, that for the hottest months loafers are a choice for an office with air conditioning. Read my Everlane loafer review.
- Bow Sandals – I picked out my bow sandals for the large, super fun bows. I wear these sandals more than I thought I would! These inexpensive sandals were more comfortable than I was expecting. The bow sandals are great with dress pants for a bit of girly whimsy and with dresses.
- Fringe Sandals – My most worn sandals while I was on vacation are the fringe sandals. They are so easy to slip on and off. The fringe is such a fun detail. You can tell I don’t go for basic sandals! These sandals are now on sale.
- Valia Gabriel – The most expensive sandal on this list are the Valia Gabriel sandals but it becomes apparent when you compare the quality. The Valia Gabriel sandals are more understated but still interesting with the way they tie around the ankle. They are very walkable and comfortable but there is not as much support as the loafer or the Birkenstocks. I wore my Valia Gabriel sandals sightseeing Last year in Brazil.
