It is the time of year when all the pretty blouses come out to play. In the colder months all I wear is knits but right now I am all about light airy blouses. My latest favourite is this white blouse with blue details. It is a really gorgeous option.
Sezane Caro Shirt Review
This blouse is a style that Sezane brings back year after year. I have an eyelet version with ruffles from last year vs the scallop trim on this one.
The blue embroidery and scallops trim make this shirt so special. This years Caro shirt is a cotton linen blend. The fit is a bit boxy and the length is to the natural waist. Long enough to tuck if you like especially with a high waisted pant or skirt. I have this shirt in two sizes as well. This year I sized up for my bust. Last years version fits everywhere but it gapes at the bust. It fits all over (slimmer than the top above) and the fabric has slack but the gape is still there. I need to get the top altered to add an extra button and everything will be fine.
I wore this shirt to work with this skirt and I really loved the combination. But that skirt is years old and I wanted to show the top with something more current. The wide leg dark wash jeans are my favourite right now and work well with a platform espadrille.
Sezane Mille Pouch Review
The bag in this post is the Sezane Mille Pouch. It is one of their basket bags as it is made of raffia in Madagascar. I love the look of this bag. The purple ruffle detail and the beaded look of the handle are so unique. But it is not the easiest to carry. The handle doesn’t stay on the shoulder very well. Size wise it can fit the essentials only. Do not buy this bag if you are looking for something practical for your day to day. I would suggest this style instead. But if you are looking for something pretty and unique I would say this bag ticks the boxes. In fact I would say that you could carry this to summer events, as long as they aren’t black tie.
