My parents just came back from a week in Costa Rica and my Aunt is now down there for a month. My Sister in Law is leaving for the Dominican soon and all I want to do is un-follow everyone I am following on instagram who lives in California.
Winter is getting old. And I know it is only February. We have at least two more months of real winter before it starts to look remotely spring like. Heck who am I kidding April is really not that warm! Plus I will be drowning in tax returns by then so I won’t even see daylight that month.
So even though I will be wearing boots and hats and scarves for 2 – 3 more months I am more interested in planning beach outfits and anything warm weather related. This is for all of you like me who are beach dreaming.

Next year you can bet that we will be planning a January beach vacation to beet the winter blues, but for now I will have to keep to dreams about the beach and surf, fruity drinks and great beach fashion.

Oh my goodness I sympathize with you SO MUCH. I keep seeing all of my friends' pictures of Toronto and it is such a winter wonderland right now.
My parents are also away (and planning on returning during "the thaw". Honestly, I don't know if it is better or worse with a little getaway in the middle, because in many ways getting away from the cold makes it that much more unbearable when you get back!
In any event I love your taste ..especially those shorts!

We just got dumped on last night! So much snow. And we had school closures so you know it was more snow than they were expecting.
That is always the hard part after vacation is getting back into the swing of things. Sometimes it is more depressing afterwards :P
