One of the easiest ways to change up a fall winter look is with a scarf and hat. Most of us gravitate to safe neutrals.
I would probably pair black with this coat. But change up the colour and all of a sudden you have a whole new look.

Is it just me or has finding fall winter accessories been a bit harder this year? Usually I have found all sorts of scarves and hats I want to add to my closet. They are such an inexpensive way to add versatility. It is much more affordable to have a closet full of scarves than a closet full of coats. My usual haunts for scarves and hats either are just getting stock now or don’t have anything I want. I have found so many retailers are sticking with just neutrals this year as they are safe but it makes from some seriously snoozeworthy shopping.

My scarf is from Simons which is a Quebec department store for my non-Canadian readers. The great thing about Simons is they import things from France, like my scarf! I do with it was a bit longer to make it easier to tie after wrapping around more than once. But I think the colour and texture more than make up for that failing.

Do you change up the colour of your scarves and accessories to change up your fall winter look?
