Skincare is so personal. I find so many bloggers I follow talking about thick moisturizers that I know would leave me breaking out. Even at 45 my skin is oily and sensitive. I am more likely going to try acne product and have success than a rich cream. When my skin is feeling particularly greasy I go for a mask and according to me these are the 5 Best Face Masks for oily skin.
5 Best Face Masks for Oily Skin
Sand and Sky Australian Pink Clay – this is my favourite clay mask. It has a light scent and a tingly feeling when it is drying. It is the one that I feel has the best results after. I like to follow this mask up with this moisturizer and I know my skin will feel like a dream afterwards.
Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask – this mask has a fruity smell and is an acid based mask providing chemical exfoliation. I find this takes the extra step of making my skin feel really clean and clear. The clay mask makes me feel less oily and if I am feeling like an extra step this is a great follow up.
Origins Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay – this is another pink clay mask but it really has a different feel than the Sand and Sky version. This one has a grittier feel.
Caudalie Vinopure Purifying Clay Mask – Caudalie Vinergenic C+ mask gets all the love from socials but I don’t find this mask to be overly great. I prefer the Vinopure Clay Mask as I think it is more powerful and clarifying. Which isn’t surprising as this is from their acne line and geared more towards oily skin.
Colleen Rosthchild Clarifying Detox Mask – this is a charcoal mask but it goes on smoother than any other charcoal mask I have tried. I think it must be the french clay. It doesn’t have a tingly feeling like Glam Glow but I think it works just as well.
