I thought it might be useful to you for me to do a recap of my most worn clothing. The items I bought in 2017 an they continue to be favourites that I reach for regularly. The things I buy in multiples and look to replace when they wear out. These are my best purchases of 2017.
I bought this Mackage Babie coat in January 2017. The shape is super flattering and the weight means I stay warm on cold days. It is such a classic and the quality means it will last for years. I have already worn it regularly since the temperature has dropped.
This fur lined parka is my favourite purchase form this fall. The faux fur is so soft and luxurious. You can get it on sale right now for 30% off with the code VIP17. I am wearing a medium which fits more like a large. The other cool thing about this coat is that the fur collar can be removed as can the winter lining. So it is almost like 3 coats in one.
The other items in this outfit are all items I wear all the time even though I didn’t buy them this year. The Marc Fisher boots I wear all the time. Probably too much! The Opelle bag continues to be my most worn handbag. It is the perfect size.
There are two 2017 favourites here the Blank NYC suede moto jacket which is both affordable and super cool. I prefer my suede moto jackets as they are much less bulky than my leather ones.
The second item in this picture is the twist front top which I have in two colours. I honestly would buy this top in all the colours and wear it all the time. Love it. It washes really well. Looks good with dress pants and jeans alike. The only reason I am not wearing through the winter is the three quarter sleeve is too cold!
I review quite a bit of Everlane products. The quality is amazing for the price and I can count of the products being great. Their shoes are my favourites although these pants are pretty amazing too. While I tried out their Day Flats and Heels the boots are the ones I wear over and over. I have shown the Heel Boot above but the Boss Boot is super similar and I have been wearing them non stop since I got them this fall. It is a toss up which I prefer more.
This past year I have had much more success at Banana Republic that I have in years. I particularly wear their dress pants for work regularly. The Avery fit is the best for my shape but the Logan also works. The stripe pants above were my favourites this summer and fall. The other items from Banana that I wear quite a bit are these layering tops. I have them in 3 colours. I quite like their button downs as well. I really feel like Banana Republic really got back into the groove of dressing women for business casual offices.
And that is my roundup of the most worn purchases of 2017. Is there anything from the blog you thought should make the list? What are your favourite purchases from 2017?
