Blanket coat style

I wore a version of this outfit before the Christmas Holidays. When I arrived at work my coworker said she really like this combination and that I should definitely put it on the blog. Obviously here we are!

Everything you have seen here on the blog before. All of this is just remixed another way to create a new look out of old items. Another confession is that I did not wear the black jeans and boots to work. I wore dress pants and some sort of shoe currently in my shoe drawer at work.

When I originally bought this coat I was thinking there must be an internal button or snap to keep it closed. But this blanket coat style actually just ties. Surprisingly it still is super warm. I think it is due to the extra quilted lining and that there is lots of overlap at the front keeps it extra warm.

It wouldn’t be a winter outfit without one of my big scarves tied on top. I was thinking of doing a new post on how I tie my scarves because I think one post dedicated to how I tie my scarf on a regular basis, rather than all the ways you COULD tie it would be helpful.
