As much as I would love to wax poetic about the amazingness that is fall fashion with the heat wave we have been having it is hard to think of anything but summer.
My off duty uniform has consisted mainly of these shorts and some sort of grey or striped tee.

I love the idea of these sandals with a simple preppy summer combo to add some visual interest or with a maxi dress. Even pairing these boho sandals with cropped denim would work as well.
I like the idea of choosing another boho-esque accessory to pair with the outfit so as to not make the sandals look like an odd choice. Something like this necklace or this clutch would look fantastic.

There are only a few more weeks of summer holidays before the kids go back to school so I am trying my best to enjoy the heat while it lasts as opposed to wishing the summer away.
