I was out and about on the weekend, looking at fall styles. Part of the shopping was just to see if some of the items I had spied online were as nice in person (they weren’t) and the rest was just to see what was out there.
The first thing that I come to terms with on every shopping trip is that it is WAY too difficult to get a real idea of fit and what I will want to wear in a few months time when I am 8 months pregnant. That said I was easily able to tell that some items I had liked really had no chance in fitting me properly; ever.
Even still the browsing I was able to do wasn’t a complete bust. I scored a new winter hat to replace one that had seen better days and spied some cool boots to try on after my feet have returned to their new normal.
I am actually excited for it to continue to get colder so I can wear my new hat. I am such a sucker for a fur pom pom.
I remember seeing these Ash boots online last year when I was doing a post about booties. Now you can find them at Marshalls for a completely affordable $129. That is a great price for Ash boots!
I tend to by-pass alot of the main stream shoe brands at Marshalls. I mean how many places can you see Franco Sarto shoes. I know almost everywhere. But they have a bunch of European brands that are harder to find. I thought these boots from Fabuanelli were fab. They are tough yet luxurious at the same time. I really like the combination of laces at the bottom and the buckles near the top. These are just something that you would have to wear over your jeans or tights to show them off!
What great finds have you found so far for fall?
