I mentioned earlier in the week that I was stocking up on work trousers. I picked up these on double sale the other week. I already have a good selection of neutrals (although I could use a great navy pair) so I went with a colour that is definitely great for fall & winter.
I want to talk about fit on both the sweater and the pants in this outfit because they couldn’t be more opposite.
The sweater is OVER-SIZED. I usually buy large at Joe Fresh because to get things to fit across find that even if a medium fits before it is washed everything shrinks so much that after one wash a medium would fit like a small. Throw all that out with this sweater. I bought a small. And it still has an over-sized fit. I was swamped in a medium.
The pants on the other hand fit more like a legging than a trouser. The fit is very slim. I did go with the petite to maintain the crop length which could account for the less room through the thigh but these pants fit slimmer than the pintuck pants or the Eaton Boy trousers that I also have from JCREW. That said they are both regular fit so again it might just be that I am in petite in these pants. Anyone else have a pair of Campbell Capris? How do you find the fit?
Outfit details: Over-sized roll neck sweater Joe Fresh (they ship to the US now), Campbell capri in bi-stretch wool Pinot Noir JCREW, booties (old) Micheal Kors, leopard fold over clutch Clare Viver, statement earrings Pink Lovebird.
