It is an old joke I know. But I thought of it instantly when I put this outfit together.
This Club Monaco coat has proven to be one of my best finds of the season. I thought it was a bit expensive when I picked it up back in October but I have worn it more than any other coat in my closet. It is a great way to blend in with the sea of black coats without actually blending in; Hello leather sleeves & moto details!
Let me talk about these boots. They are amazing and yet wildly inappropriate for walking around in the snow. They were SO slippery. Definitely a wear in the office kinda boot. Or get some of those rubber no slip soles to add on.
Still these pictures just don’t show these Saint & Libertine boots off as much as I would have liked. You can see them better on Instagram here. They are half calf hair, half leather with a hidden wedge. So cool.
I switched to this Gigi New York tote to get me through personal tax season so that I can easily carry files back and forth from the office without sacrificing style (ie using an audit bag/briefcase on wheels or whatever bag I have in my car).
The leather is quite structured but of a good quality so I can see it getting softer with use. While not buttery soft to start I see this as a plus when it comes to a tote that you want to have a defined shape.

What are you wearing through the end of winter? It is coming to an end right?!
