Soon I am going to be putting away my festive reds and greens and transitioning to my other knits. But I am finding myself more drawn to colour right now. Bold jewel tones are really speaking to me instead of simply a sea of neutrals. Bold royal blue, bright greens, pinks and purples are a sure fire way to make it though the dead of winter with more vibrancy. It is definitely time to add some colorful knitwear to the closet.
Colorful Knitwear
- Emile Cardigan – I have this in red and it is one of my favourite knits. The chunky almost vertical stripe looking knit is so fun especially in bright colours.
- Chunky cashmere crew – I don’t think I ever thought I needed an orange sweater but this one calls to me. It is lovely. I think it would pair great for navy or rich browns.
- Mock neck sweater – this green is brighter than a Christmas green. It is more like a grass green or kelly green. I think this colour would pair great with navy and grey or black. Sure it would go with browns but I want to avoid looking like a tree.
- Chunky cashmere turtleneck – I love this plum colour. So gorgeous with pretty much everything. I have this sweater in brown but maybe I need this colour too?
- Kethy jumper – I also have this sweater in another colour but this raspberry shade is lovely.
- Relaxed cashmere jumper – how gorgeous is this purple? And I feel like this would be a perfectly drapey knit. Especially with those wide sleeves.
- Boiled wool jumper – this shade is another gorgeous one. Not quite royal blue but has quite a bit of punchiness. Great pairing for a tonal blue look.
