Double Leo

If there is one coat that I think everyone should own it is a belted camel coat. I just think they look so chic and really go with everything. People tend to buy black because they think it goes with everything and is safe. However I think camel is just as versatile and has more richness to it.

I have never once regretted purchasing this Mackage coat. The structure is amazing. I wish they still made this style but they don’t seem to have it in stock any longer. However I have shared some coats by other retailers that give a similar look.

What really makes outfits for me aside from a beautiful coat at this time of year is a great scarf. This leopard one is a new favourite. And not only is the leopard pattern bolder than what is the traditional spotty scarf but it is also a square shape versus the long rectangle.

The square blanket scarf was really popular a few years ago but I prefer it for tying as I don’t always find the long rectangles are long enough to get around twice and tie. The smaller tails that you get with a square scarf folded in half are really ideal for tying. I know it confused people when they first got popular but I think once you get the hang of tying a blanket scarf it really is a great option especially in cold winter climates.

I did double animal print in this sort of business casual look. The smaller spots on the purse and the larger spots on the scarf just go because they are all in the same colour family.

The trouser jeans are my favourites. I have said that before in this post. They have been my casual Friday go tos lately, although that might be changing soon if we keep getting snow.
