Etsy at the Toronto One of a Kind

The spring One of a Kind Show is coming up FAST. I love wandering the rows on rows of amazing handmade fashion, accessories, home decor and of course the food. You have to snag some free samples! The show is SO BIG, although I have found that the spring show is more manageable to shop as it is a bit smaller than the Christmas One of a Kind. Still it can be a bit overwhelming to do in a short period of time so make sure you can dedicate a good chunk of time to wandering and taking it all in at a reasonable pace (don’t expect to rush through!). One of the cool sections at the show is checking out all the local (ok CANADIAN as they come from far and wide to the OOAK), Etsy sellers at the show.

Since the OOAK show is coming up at the end of March I thought I would share 5 Etsy sellers to check out at the Toronto One of a Kind show.

1. Crystal Brass Italian Vintage Chain Antique Gold Necklace – loving the jewellery at Standing O Accessories, lots of fun items with a bit of a boho edge.

2. One Custom Superhero (Boy or Girl) Doll Softie Gift Set with Matching Child Size mask & cape – These dolls are so cute on their own. Sew Whimsical by Katie has dolls that range from super heros like these to Terry Fox and other notable Canadians.

3. Custom Made Shabby Chic Easter Bunny Fabric Bunting Banner, Garland on Jute Twine, Easter Decoration – another pick from Sew Whimsical because I thought it would be perfect for Easter!

4. Ontario Wood Flag, Distressed, Decorative and in a Variety of Sizes! – Showing my provincial pride here with this pick from Halyard. These would be perfect for the cottage. There are also some cool half Canada half American flags that are great for families with heritage from both countries.

5. Tulip Storage Bin /canvas storage bin colourful modern accessory – I fell for these bins because of the fabulous print. Wouldn’t they be perfect as part of a kids bedroom for toys or laundry?

6. Knit Baby Booties, Newborn, Color Block, Merino, Made to Order – if you have a baby shower to attend might I suggest these luxurious merino wool booties from Flower Pot. SO gorgeous!
