Last year I was lucky enough to be gifted a pair of the new Everlane Western Boot. This year they came out with a Limited Edition Snake version of the same boot. I thought it would be helpful to share which version I like better the suede or the snake. The Everlane Western Boot in snake was gifted to me by Everlane but all opinions are my own.
Everlane Western Boot in Snake Review
The Everlane Western Boot in Snake has a traditional western boot silhouette. The snake is embossed leather but the Western boot also comes in Suede (reviewed here) and nappa leather. There is a large elastic panel that makes pulling the boots on fairly easy. The heel is 2.17 inches high making it a fairly walkable heel boot.
The snake colour combination is a rich brown and black combination. I think this combination is more easily wearable than many other snake colour combinations. It is less in your face. Even compared with another Everlane snake option.
I was worried that the Everlane Western Boot in Snake was going to fit smaller and stiffer much like the Boss Boot in snake. But it doesn’t. I don’t notice much fit differences between the Suede version of the Western Boot and the Snake version.
Still these boots do fit narrow. If you have wide feet keep that in mind as there will be a break in period.
If I had to pick just one of the two versions of the Western Boot I have I would choose the snake. I think it looks more luxe and goes with everything. It has more of a cool it girl factor. If you want to experiment with the snake trend this boot is a great option. The snake pattern is subtle and from afar reads as a dark brown boot. IT is easier to wear than a more varied and bold snake pattern.
I also like them better than the Boss Boot in Snake. I think the Western Boot fits nicer and I prefer the brown and black snake print.
What do you think of the Western Boot? Do you like the snake version? Is this a style you have been looking to add to your closet?
