Find your Plaid Blanket Scarf

You have seen them all over the interwebs. The plaid blanket scarf has taken the world by storm. I picked up the Zara blanket scarf (seen below) last year before I realized every other girl that has a style blog also bought it but it turned out to be the warmest scarf ever! You almost don’t need a hat because the scarf is large and covers your ears when tied up. Plus you have additional style options because of the size.

Zara has moved on and has a new version out this year that is more orange than red but pretty much the same pattern. Mango and Asos have exact replicas.

But there are lots of similar scarves in different plaids that give the same look without being the exact same scarf. I picked up this version at Mango and have been posting it constantly on instagram.

Many of these options are under $40 so this is an easy and inexpensive trend to incorporate into your wardrobe. My favourites (aside from the options I already own of course) are the Christmas plaid and the grey menswear inspired options. All of these easily go with most coats, I was surprised as to how much my Zara scarf paired with last season. The only style coat that might be tricky is a plaid coat but if you picked a scarf with a paid with many of the same colours only opposite to your coat (ie if you coat is a read plaid try scarf #3).
