This past week the temperatures dropped and it is starting to feel crisp in the morning. Even if it might still get up above 20 by late afternoon. There are trees that have started to turn colour and the humitity is largely gone from the air.
It is the perfect time to bring out the capes and sleeveless coats for a bit of a warmer layer without over heating.
I have been dying to wear this fringe blanket cape coat since I picked it up about a month ago. It was one of those things that I couldn’t stop thinking about so I had to grab it before all the sizes sold out.
I also picked up this Opelle Creative bag. I have been lusting after one since I saw them at the One of a Kind Show a few years ago. I almost bought a navy one of these Mini Vanda’s last year but am glad I waited until this year because this Burgundy version is to tie for. The leather is AMAZING. Soft and slouchy just as I like it. I love the studs too – perfect amount of detail on this bag and although this is the smaller version a decent size to hold all the essentials.
I am sure that you are sick of all the bloggers out there professing their love of fall, but it goes without saying that it is my favourite season. Layers just make for a more interesting outfit plus I don’t feel hot and sweaty all the time. Hats, scarves and plaids. Any day now more of the trees will turning bright orange and red and yellow.
Outfit details: Fringe Blanket Cape Coat, Hat (under $20!), bag Opelle Creative (handmade in Toronto), Jeans (similar), boots (similar).
What are you excited about putting on this fall?
