To me Isabel Marant can do no wrong and everything she creates has this cool factor.
I first spied these fringe boots on another blog and was kinda amazed that I was so in love with something that was so 80’s inspired.
I mean aren’t fringe boots so 1988?? Still I WANT a pair.
Shop the Post:
1. ISABEL MARANT – 90MM JACOB FRINGED SUEDE WEDGE BOOTS
2. Isabel Marant ISA-C-SAILOR-BT0001 shoes KHAKI
3. Betsey Johnson Ziah Low Shaft High Heel Boots or here in the Black/Leopard version.
4. ASOS CHARLIE Leather Wedge Boots With Fringe Detail
5. Jeffrey Campbell Taro Fringe Boots
6. Zara Fringed High Heel Boot
My favourites are the Zara Fringed boots because they most emulate the all over fringe of the shorter wedge Isabel Marant bootie. I tried them on the other day at Yorkdale and they are super fab.
The other styles shown above, especially the Betsy Johnson pair are actually very similar to the Isabel Marant boots from 2011, but really they are all ridiculously cool.
Where this trend really looses me though is the round toe flat Ugg or moccasin styles. Just doesn’t work for me. But if you want a round toe version that could work, these Jeffery Campbell ones are the best of the bunch.
Even Steve Madden and Gap have fringe boots on their roster this fall so expect to be seeing alot of fringe this fall.
What do you think? Are you digging the fringe or is it too retro for you?

I'm not sure I can pull off the fringe boot. I see a couple of cool pairs though.
