Boot season is upon up and I am all for it. At least when it is actually cold and not the faux summer days we have been having lately. I had to peel all these layers off me as soon as I got home because Mother Nature decided she wanted it hot for another day before it cools off again.

I was gifted these boots and they might be my favourtes of the season. They have the western silhouette without being overly cowboyish. The suede is a great rusty brown which basically goes with everything.
The sweater is another gifted item which I am loving. The shape is fantastic and I love how it is a turtleneck but that you don’t have to roll it down so it is more loose. Longer than a mock neck and less tight. And it is in that brassy brown colour I adore right now.
So far we have only had one week of cold weather so far so I am looking forward to it cooling down and actually being cool in the afternoon as well instead of two different seasons in the same day.
