I have actually had these light wash boyfriend jeans for a few years now. They come out every year when the weather starts to warm up and I can go without socks.
I remember when I bought them. I wanted another pair of trouser style dark denim and the particular style I wanted wasn’t available any more. It had sold out but the sales girl at Body Blue Denim (one of the city’s best jean stores according to me) got me to try on a few different styles. At the time lighter washes weren’t even on my radar. Boyfriend jeans barely were something I was interested in but these jeans have been a godsend.
What I like about light wash denim is that it instantly makes the outfit feel easy and well lighter. This is why summer for me is all about lighter washes.
On a totally different note I was originally thinking I would return this blazer. I thought it would be one of those things I buy thinking it would look great in a blog post but doesn’t get much wear beyond it, but I think it is so pretty. What do you think? Floral blazers yea or nay?
Outfit details: Blazer and tee Zara (recent), Light wash boyfriend jeans AG, Yellow Pumps JCREW (old), Necklace via Beau & Bauble.

Thanks - I am not sure why I was hesitant about a floral jacket with all the floral pants I have done. I am loving how sunny the coat feels :)
