This is a version of an outfit I wore around Christmas. And this faux fur vest has been one I have been throwing on over light knits and blouses so that I have warm layer without bulking up too much.
The sweater is one that got alot of love from the blogger scene (you might still be able to find it on sale) and is one of the items I gifted myself at Christmas. I love the pattern but I find that with all the different colours the knit is a bit constricting. I would put it at a A- level purchase. I think what I don’t like about it is that it is slightly too long and slightly too slim. Oh well, I still wear it regularly.
This is a look that I have easily adapted for the office by switching out my jeans and tall boots for trousers and pointy toe flats.
I’m not going to lie this was warm enough to pop out side and take pictures but for everyday wear I would have to layer over a coat.
I would have to add a big scarf to go along with my touque to make it through the minus twenty (or colder) degree weather we have been having.
Outfit details: Sweater JCREW, Vest H&M, blouse Banana Republic, Jeans Madewell, Tote Gigi New York, Toque Joe Fresh, Boots Shoe Mint (old).

Thanks Gracey! I am glad I can help you figuring out how to dress in this cold weather. I will have to admit that some days it is hard to stay warm :)
