Leopard Print Coat Trend

I hate to call something a trend when it has staying power. Is it really a trend if it comes back season after season? Or is it more of a staple? Still outside of fashion circles I think few would call a leopard print coat a staple no matter how wearable it really is. This year you have to admit that leopard is EVERYWHERE. It is hard to miss and there are so many good options. Cropped styles to longer styles, darker prints to lighter options. I gave away my vintage leopard coat a few years ago. I felt like I just wasn’t wearing it all that much and part of that was because it was a vintage style. I would love something a bit more modern and I am rounding up all my faves from the Leopard Print Coat Trend.

Leopard Print Coat Trend

1. Warehouse Faux Fur Leopard Coat – This coat feels like the most traditional. The print is similar to the coat style that was all over the internet circa 2012.
2. Leopard Print Borg Zip up Jacket – This jacket is bold with a large leopard print. It is borg (aka fleece) instead of faux fur and has a handy zip.
3. Maxi Leopard print faux fur coat – I love the length on this coat it adds so much drama. The print on this coat is big but appears more neutral than the last.
4. Leopard Coat – this coat is a bit more streamlined than the other options. The print does stand out more even though it is less fluffy.
5. Animal Faux Fur Cocoon Coat – I feel like if you are a bit nervous about wearing leopard this is a good option. From far away it reads really neutral and the leopard print doesn’t stand out.
6. Leopard Faux Fur Coat – I love the collar on this option.
7. Faux Fur Leopard Coat – This is another safe option. In fact I think many others have the same idea because a bunch of sizes are already sold out.
8. Cropped Leopard Print Jacket – This option is bold. I love the cropped style and the pop of green.
9. Avec Les Filles Leopard Print Car Coat – another longer option this one with a hint of pink.
10. Kensie Faux Fur Leopard Car Coat – this is another easy to wear option. I love the big collar and how the print is smaller but is highlighted in a few places.
11. Faux Fur Leopard Coat – I LOVE the contrasting pink collar on this one and the boldness of this option. It is shorter without being too cropped. This would be so fun.

After doing this round up I almost want to collect a longer option and a shorter option. Honestly I could go with #2, #3 and number #11 and justify how they are all so different that they all need to be in my closet.
