Linen on linen look

When I saw this look on pinterest I became obsessed with recreating it. More the double linen look and I was so smitten with the trousers. Now like so many things on pinterest the outfit was old but it didn’t look dated. It looked like a great summer outfit. I found a way to get a similar look that works for my body and I know I will be wearing this on repeat to the office for the next month.

So before you comment with the obvious yes my top is blue versus the purply pink of the inspiration. And my pants are slightly darker and warmer brown. But the over all look is a similar vibe and that was what I was going for.

Note that the shirt I am wearing doesn’t have much size availability left but I have included some similar options in the carousel which you can click through. The colour I have in the pants is cane sugar.

The pants took ages to get shipped and arrive but I am so pleased with what I got I am considering another colour. The shape is different from all the other linen trousers I have which tend to be more of a wide leg or culotte style. These have more of a carrot shape or barrel leg. And while this is trending right now I just like how it fits my body.

I feel like if I paired this with a wide brim Panama hat I would have the ultimate European sightseeing look. But for now I just plan on wearing this to the office.

I know some people shy away from linen because they don’t like the rumpled look because it doesn’t stay crisp. I personally love the relaxed summery vibe that linen gives off. And after it is washed it tends to be super soft too.
