M Gemi Nuvola Review

I took advantage of the summer M. Gemi sale earlier this year. While I knew I wanted to try the pointed toe Stellato flat, the Nuvola slide was more of an impulse purchase. Since you can still grab these sandals on sale in the soft pink shown and a pale blue. This is my M Gemi Nuvola Review.

M Gemi Nuvola Review

The Nuvola slide is a fairly minimalist design. The wide strap fits nicely over my wide feet. This pair of sandals had zero break in time. The leather lining is so smooth and soft making the sandals feel extra luxurious.

There is a slight heel so if you are one of those people that can’t wear flat flats these would be a great option for a not quite flat sandal.

The Nuvola covers up most of your foot so it almost feels like a peep toe sandal as opposed to one that is thin and strappy. It also extends the wear-ability of these slides as you can get away with wearing them earlier in the season and longer into the fall. More coverage means more warmth. These are closer to a shoe or a mule in the amount of foot coverage.

These sandals are a go with everything type of slide. I have worn them with dresses and pants and really haven’t felt like they don’t go with anything. They aren’t as feminine as some other options I have but sometimes that is want I want to go with. Although the pretty pink shade does soften them up a bit.

If you are sick of wearing uncomfortable but pretty sandals with your dresses in the summer this sandal would be a good alternative as they are ridiculously comfortable.

While there isn’t the snap that can come with say flip flops, I do find that the leather interior sticks to my foot. My office is very quiet and you can hear me coming when I wear these sandals from a mile away. It was suggested I could just use some baby powder on my foot to get rid of the stickiness. I don’t really notice so much when I am out anywhere louder.

I got the 39 which seems to be the size I wear in Italian made shoes. It is the same size of shoe I got in the Felize and the Stellato. I didn’t notice any of the pinching or breaking in that I had with the other two styles. If you suffer from bunions these sandals are so soft and forgiving to the foot.

The pink comes off almost nude on my foot. If you aren’t into colour these slides also come in black and a tan colour. All colours, even the neutral shades, are now on sale.

These are a slide that I probably wouldn’t have given much thought about had they not been on sale but they have become a surprise winner due to how comfortable they are and how easily they pair with my wardrobe. This sandal would be an excellent option for summer travel as they are so comfortable and mold to your foot.
