Mackage Leather Jacket Review

My birthday is coming up and I splurged on a Mackage Leather jacket. I thought it would be worthwhile to share my experience and help you determine if a Mackage Leather Jacket is worth the money.

Mackage Leather Jacket Review:

I picked up this particular Mackage Leather jacket from Aritzia. I was in there looking to try on some camel wrap coats which were not in stock yet. The colour of the Mackage Rumer jacket caught my eye as did the quality of the leather.

I didn’t try the jacket on then and there. I was shopping with my kids and we were past the time of agreeable shopping. But I couldn’t stop thinking about the jacket when I got home. I tracked down the jacket online but they were out of my size. Aritiza customer service came to my rescue and tracked down the jacket in one of their stores out west in my size and shipped it out.

First of all the merlot colour is so unique. The leather is so soft. When I first put the jacket on I felt like it was a bit snug and constricting. I was almost considering returning it but the more I wore the jacket the more it gave and relaxed. This is the thing to remember about leather jackets they do stretch.

The other major thing I noticed when I first tried the jacket it on that it was heavier than other leather jackets I owned. It felt more substantial. I instantly compared it to my grey suede jacket from Mango and the Mackage jacket is definitely thicker.

There is also more detail. More snaps and the leather belt. I will admit that the leather belt is a bit awkward. The belt buckle is heavy and pulls the belt down so you have to be careful you don’t lose the belt.

I have already gotten compliments on this Mackage Leather jacket and it is so soft. Yes this is an investment jacket but oooooooh she is worth it.
