I recently purchased a Mille blouse that I had been debating for a while. In fact I went back and forth with two styles before I saw this green stripe version of the Florian top and decided that was the one. Will be sharing what is so great about this Mille blouse in the Mille Florian Top Review.
Mille Florian Top Review
The Mille Florian top is a 100% cotton button front shirt. It is collarless but has pleating at the shoulders which gives a bit of a boho vibe. The shirt is actually quite wide and loose which lends itself to being tucked and bloused with your favourite trouser jeans or high waisted linen pants.
What I like about this blouse is that many of the boho type blouses might have some sort of seam across the boob and then pleating from there. I think this blouse is much more flattering especially for curvy girls who don’t want boob seams or boob pockets or anything like that.
Quality wise the shirt material isn’t as heavy cotton as my Sezane Max shirt, but it is much more substantial that a cheap H&M button down.
Size wise I went with the XL as the Mille size chart has this as a US 12. There is loads of room through the body as it is quite loose. However I would follow their size chart to ensure the top fits nicely through the shoulders.
I have the cotton stripe version of this top, there are also cotton gauze, swiss dot and other options. What I like about Mille is that they do a style in a bunch of colourways and fabrics. They aren’t one offs that you will never see again. Next year they will bring it back. So if you like the style you can get it again in another colour.
Style wise I will definitely wear this top with my high waisted linen pants, and the white skirt I have in my closet. I think this blouse is very versatile.
What do you think of the Mille Florian top review? Is this a style you want to try?
