I wore this outfit to work last week and it has become an instant favourite. In fact I could wear this combo every day and be completely happy.
The whole slightly oversized button down, slim pants and cropped leather jacket feels really fresh.
I picked up the Navy Blue Leather Handbag from JCREW on their last sale on sale promotion. I had been thinking about picking up something in navy for fall after I bought this cape and I couldn’t be happier with how this handbag turned out.
The leather on this JCREW Handbag is soft, more supple than some of the higher end designer I own and have touched but without the level of detail. This style is the Hayden Satchel and is quite large. Smaller than my tote but larger than my Rocco which otherwise is a similar style.
The hardware is a brushed gold and elevates the navy leather; I don’t think that silver finishing would have had the same effect.
The bag also comes with a large tassel which can be removed if you like but I am all for the tassel look. There is also a cross body strap. It is quite long even when adjusted smaller but It makes it better for hands free over bulky layers.
Overall I am happy with this bag, the colour is perfect and I would totally order another JCREW bag. Loving this Peyton bag in the blush.
The leather jacket and pants are from last year but the stripe button down is current from Banana Republic. I love the longer length and that it works for someone like me that isn’t exactly tall. It also fits nicely in the bust which I can’t always say of Banana Republic button downs. This shirt is oversized without being overwhelming. It would probably be better described as relaxed as opposed to oversized.
Outfit details: grey leather jacket Mango (old, this is similar, so is this), vertical stripe shirt Banana Republic, handbag & pants JCREW, heels Nine West (similar), sunglasses Prada
