Big Scarf & No Socks

This post features a bit of a contradiction. The big scarf indicating that it is cold out and tie up cut out shoes with no socks indicating it is warmer than the scarf is letting on.

It has been mild as of late. I wouldn’t want to go sockless for too long but at the same time you aren’t freezing as soon as you step out the door. It is doable for a quick hop into the car.

If there is one thing that I have gone completely gaga for this year it is blanket scarves. I LOVE these big scarves. They are so warm. They look cool. And I don’t even care if they are over done. And I don’t think anyone else does either because they are sold out everywhere. Case in point, the Aritzia scarf I am wearing above is no longer available on their website. They do have other styles still but I am guessing not for long.

Unlike my fast fashion versions (the Zara and Mango ones, which are Acrylic) this scarf is wool, hence the higher price tag. Is it worth it? It depends how much you WANT natural fibers. I like all of them. The texture of the Aritzia one is definitely different but in no way itchy. Not as soft as the other ones though.

The rest of my outfit, which really doesn’t seem to show up thanks to the coat, scarf and shoes that take center stage, was just a monochrome grey sweater, grey jeans combo.
