One of the first pairs of jeans I tried on about a month after my son was born were my faithful boyfriend jeans. I had a good feeling that they would fit (read do up) but now almost 3 months later these jeans are finally starting to fit they way they should.
I paired them with my new favourite tee. This nautical, navy and white stripe t-shirt from Club Monaco is perfection.
I wasn’t going anywhere today so I decided to style the outfit as if I were going out and as if it were warmer, because let’s be serious I wouldn’t be wearing those shoes out today!

I took this outfit which was born out of what I was hanging around at home in and transformed it with three things; a blazer, fun shoes and a necklace.
I love this blazer because of the shoulders. The defined shoulders draw your eye upwards and give the illusion of me being longer and leaner. Plus I thought a boyfriend blazer and boyfriend jeans would go well together, keeping the look casual.
I picked up the necklace at Anthropologie the other day and it is instantly becoming a favourite. I am a fan of pairing a bold necklace like this with something simple like a t-shirt and jeans.
So even though I had to take off my fun sandals and put on Sorels to go outside today because well it is January in Toronto, I have an outfit that I can pull out of my closet when the weather gets warmer.
How do you style your boyfriend jeans? Or do you save them for warmer months?
