So I pulled the trigger on this plaid shirt when all the Cyber Monday sales were on and I am glad I did because it is sold out online. Just as I expected it is a perfect Christmas plaid but I have styled it here to underplay its festiveness.
This outfit was inspired by this look by Lovely Pepa. I like her cardigan better because of the way it drapes and the detail at the arm opening but I also like how she got me to re-think my sweater.
I look at these pictures and think to myself if last year was the year I collected stripe t-shirts this year is all about plaid. I just can’t get enough.
What I like most about plaid flannel shirts is how warm they are without the bulk of sweaters.

Isn't it fab?! And it is so comfortable. Sometimes I find rings that are big or irregular shape they don't fit as nicely on the finger ya know?
