The Pan American Games are coming to Toronto this Summer. But Toronto has been preparing for 2015 for a few years. While I was living in Leslieville you could see the changes as development in Corktown flourished. I mean have you been to Corktown Common? Such a great park. But now the Pan Am and Parapan games are just months away and the Canadian Pan Am Games Clothing has been released.

7. Colourblock Combo Windbreaker
The collection for the Pan Am Games was inspired by the 50th Anniversary of the Canadian Flag. Which explains the colourblocking, the prominence of the Maple Leaf as well as the red and white. But the black just doesn’t work for me. I mean I get it there needs to be another colourway for people who just don’t want to do the whole Canada Red & White thing but the black feels really harsh to me. But I think that is supposed to be a nod to the whole athleisure trend in fashion so I guess it works.
The collection is priced at $30 – $140 with most of the collection under $100 so it is super affordable.
Personally I love the Red & White Canada Baseball caps. It screams Canadiana so loud it is perfect not only for the Pan Am Games but for Canada Day. I think for people who might be a bit indifferent for the Pan American Games or for those who are not in Ontario this collection is a great option to celebrate Canada Day in style.
My guess is the baseball caps, the Maple Leaf hoodies and the retro sweats in grey with the red Maple Leaf and stripes are all going to sell quickly. I am not sure if there is a run away item like the Red Mittens from the Winter Olympics but this Pan Am Games Clothing collection is sure to be popular if only because the games are being held in Toronto 2015.
