I bought this red jacket at the Gap a few years ago because I loved the Chanel tweed inspired fabric and the oversized collar.
What I didn’t like about this jacket was the double-breasted buttons down the front so I decided one day to just cut them off. Best. Decision. EVER.
Sure I can’t close up the jacket like I could before but I never do anyways and the look is so much more streamlined.
Outfit details; Red jacket Gap (old, similar), blue stripe top Joe Fresh, Staight leg Jean Gap, loafers Jeffery Campbell (sold out but love these too), Clutch I Miss You Vintage, jewellery JewelMint c/o, Magwood & Gadabout.
Sometimes when I buy things I look past the things that detract from the article of clothing and then I seem to notice them slowly over time. The buttons were one of those things but I now wear the jacket more than ever before.
I was out shopping and updating neighbourhood shopping maps for my main website (torontoshopoholic.com) on Ossington and Dundas West. I picked up this clutch that I love at I Miss You Vintage. I actually had another 40s style bag that I put back but I might have to go back and take a look at it again. Vintage leather bags in great condition for only $40.
I also picked up the snake ring at Magwood. She has an amazing selection of vintage accessories. And a pair of Versace flower print jeans from the 1990’s that would be so hot right now!
What did you wear this weekend?
