Quilted Paisley Jacket

I have been searching for the perfect little quilted jacket for a few years now. I always seem to hesitate on great versions and they disappear before I can commit. Larger sizes in these style of jackets tend to sell fast because the arms generally fit tight.

I missed out on last years version from Zara, countless Asos versions and the Isabel Marant for H&M one (which was gorgeous) was a bit expensive especially for a fast fashion jacket. I even like the Maison Scotch ones which don’t seem to be as prevalent as they were a few seasons ago.

So when I saw this version at Mango I didn’t even wait a second. Plus the contrasting fabric and detail at the back were a selling feature.

I had not ordered from the Mango website before. I wasn’t sure if they shipped locally (from within Canada) or from overseas. We don’t even have a Mango store in Ontario anymore. When they were here they never seemed to carry any of the higher end, super cute stuff.

Long story short, there are still stores in Quebec and shipments, much like Zara, originate from the Quebec warehouse which means you can order without having to worry about duties! Although the free shipping threshold is higher. Still I will be stalking their website more often for cute finds like this especially since they do free returns.

I did order this jacket in an XL which is supposed to be equivalent to a North American 10; I would say it fits like a 10/12 and there are no fit issues with the arms. It also zips at the front without being too tight in the chest area.

Another item I want to mention from this outfit is the gorgeous Haute Inhabit for ELUXE necklace. It is very unique even if it is a bit tricky to put on by yourself. I found it hard to choose from this collaboration as there were so many fantastic items to pick from I also liked the rings and these earrings.
