Sezane Angie Cardigan Review

The Sezane Angie Cardigan is a fancy knit with crochet detail around the neckline and front placket. What makes this sweater special is that crochet detail. It makes this knit more blouselike and great for the office. My Sezane Angie Cardigan review will share why this sweater has quickly become in high rotation for my office week outfits.

Sezane Angie Cardigan Review

The Angie Cardigan is a wool and mohair mix sweater. It comes in a bunch of colours but the black and ecru have the most sizes available.

Size wise I got the large. The Sezane recomendation is to get your usual size or size down if you are between sizes. I think it fits well enough but more fitted than other knits I have. I kind of wish I had the XL for a bit more room (similar to what I did with the Kethy). But the style works well being more slim cut. I think if you want more room take your larger size.

The sleeve is slightly puffed. I find it less dramatic than my Mickey sweater but still a lovely feminine detail.

What makes this cardigan special is the open work knit and crochet detail. It gives the sweater more of a blouse like look. That and the slight balloon sleeve. The crochet detail is also on the cuffs.

I have been pairing this sweater with dress pants for the office weekly since I got it. It is great for the colder months where you still want to look professional but knitwear is a must due to the temperature.

The wool mohair mix is a soft lightweight knit. It isn’t bulky but still super warm. That is one of things that I like about Sezane knits is that they make pretty but still super practical knitwear. No one wants to have a pretty sweater that doesn’t keep them warm. This one is so warm!
