Have you ever heard from someone that they don’t look good in hats? I think the reason they think that is there are so many ill fitting hats out there! So many times I have ordered a hat that would only fit a small child. A great winter hat needs to be warm and fit well without being too tight or snug. This Sezane Freddie Beanie Review will share why this hat has become one of my all time favourite winter hats.
Sezane Freddie Beanie Review
The Sezane Freddie Beanie is a classic beanie made of a mixture of mohair and alpaca. It is a super light weight hat. There is some minor itchiness when compared to say acrylic but for the most part I find this hat easy to wear.
I have the hat in black but it also comes in a off white and a fuchsia colour.
There is no pom on this hat but there is some pretty stich detail on the hat just above the fold. The no pom isn’t a big deal to me as it fits under a hood much more comfortably.
This is a style that you fold up. I find hats like this in general are more flattering as they don’t look as stuck against your head. You can also fold it up more or less to your liking. If you want it really slouchy you could just not fold it up but then the hat would be really long.
The average woman’s head is between 22 and 23 inches. I fall in the average at 22.5 inches. I measured some of my favourite hats and they fall right in the average. The hats I find uncomfortable are on the smaller side at 21 inches. The smaller hats fit my 12 year old but I don’t enjoy wearing them no matter how much I try to stretch them out. The Sezane Freddie beanie is 23 inches in diameter. The larger circumference plus the relaxed knit makes the hat super comfortable. It is also less likely to totally destroy your hair.
